Thank you for checking out my art - I truely hope you will enjoy what you see! I like using mostly watercolors - the softer look you can achieve by using them. I also do some original acrylic paintings on vintage items. I have loved old cottage decor & decorating all of my life so I have tried to combine the two with what I do.
The Type Of Painting I Do:
I use very fine brushes in several layers of washes which gives the painting more depth & detail. I don't use stencils or trace or do tole painting. Because of the painting technique I use I have alot of time invested in my originals. I appreciate those who enjoy my art & respect my time at least as much as they do their own.
My Passions:
I love all of the art's. I've been painting since I was four years old & I am self taught. I've been collecting & decorating my home in the vintage Cottage style for almost 30 years now. I've loved to decorate since I was a small child going with my own instincts. I love the ocean & love to spend the day visiting it as often as time allows & the weather is good. I'm also a Huge fan of Contemporary Smooth Jazz music! In my free time I enjoy going to those types of concerts. My favorite instrument is the saxaphone. I dream of one day going on a Smooth Jazz Music Cruise! It would be the ultimate vacation!
My Time:
I've spent alot of time the past 4 years or so cargiving for family members so if I haven't kept in touch as much, this is why. I hope to have a bit more time now to continue on my art journey.
